This was posted on the Emerald Dream realm forums. If you know anyone that’s interested in joining, point them our way! I included some pictures to illustrate points known only to me.
Nights is currently seeking raiders to join us in 25-man Ulduar and beyond. In regards to progression, we maintain a fairly constant momentum. This is our 3rd year on Emerald Dream and while we may not be at the forefront of progression, we have been raiding steadily since Burning Crusade. In the past, we triumphed over some of the most rewarding fights, such as Sarth +3, and though we may pause a bit to admire Thorim’s fancy speeches or Freya’s lively garden, camaraderie is one of our greatest goals while raiding. Victories in that vein will become some of your most valued memories. We raid for each other.
I’m not going to list specific classes that we’re in need of; instead, I’d rather focus more on the type of people we’re looking for.
- We’re looking for people that are interested and dedicated to progression. We consider a wipe on a progression boss to be far more satisfying than simply one-shotting a farmed boss.
- We’re looking for people that want to master their class, the people that are constantly refining their skills and adapting to the changes of each patch. These people are also prepared for new fights. They don’t wait for the raid leader to explain the fight to them; they’ve already seen the video.
- And most importantly, we’re looking for more friends. We’re looking for someone to join our in-jokes, to laugh with us during progression wipes, to help farm that elusive old-world drop after the raid. We spend a lot of time together during raids and after. We work together and treat each other with the respect of old friends. We will not recruit members that bring negativity to the raid or cannot work with others.
If you’re interested in logging on whenever you feel like it, one-shotting some bosses and getting yourself geared out quickly, we’re probably not the guild for you. If you’re interested in being first on the server or being above everyone else and making sure everyone knows it, we’re still not the guild for you. But if you feel like the paragraphs above describe you and what you’re looking for, please check out our website and put in an application. You’ll be given every opportunity to succeed.
It’s a well-known fact that people cannot receive a rez until Cuddle marks them with a Gnomeregan banner (possible tea-bagging may be involved).
